So there was this one time when I got on stage and played guitar with Edwin McCain…
And there was this one time that I guest posted for Jon Acuff…
Very excited to share both with you today.
Jon Acuff, New York Times Bestselling author and blogging pro, has given me the opportunity to tell you about the time I played guitar with Edwin McCain and a few things I learned.
I’d love for you to check it out. In fact, I’ll be the greatest fan of your life (pardon the pun)

Dreams Don’t Start on Stage
Thanks to Jon and Edwin for a moment on their stage.
I just got a little teary reading this. What a great way to show us the finish line but talk about the steps it took to get from the back of the bus to the stage. You have to be ready. I am a speaker and I love to speak but HATE writing speeches. You just reframed that for me. That is my “back of the bus” work. Thank you!
So glad to have you stop by. It’s easy to forget, but essential to embrace, the importance of preparation. What do you speak about?
Hi Matt, I speak about manifesting your amazing destiny and motivating people to a life that represents their deepest dreams. Thanks for asking!
Congrats, Matt! Such a great reminder. Many people are not ready for their time on the stage because they have not been practicing and working their tails off first.
This is awesome, Matt. Thanks for sharing. What a great reminder!
Hey Nancy! Thank YOU for stopping by.
What an inspiring article! God is amazing. You have a gift. Thanks for sharing.
Great post Matt!!!
