An Update: How Do You Reflect Light?

A quick update…

For the last 40 +/- days I have been posting daily (minus Sundays) after feeling a ‘whisper’ to start.  It has led me down a remarkable path on a journey I never thought I would be taking, at least not at this point in my life/career.  I’m so incredibly grateful for it and where it is leading me.  More importantly, I am thankful for you guys, my readers, who have encouraged me and supported me as I walk down this ‘new’ road.  You have shared the site with family, friends and coworkers and I’m completely humbled by it. The energy I receive from your stories and insight are what keep me going!

That being said, I am going to start backing off on the frequency of my posts.  I can hear you saying, “Thank goodness, this daily thing is wearing me out!”  In all honesty, I felt like I had so much I wanted to write about that it took a daily commitment to start getting the thoughts on paper.  However, I am starting to concentrate on my book and want to devote my morning writing there as well.  My plans are to keep 3-4 posts per week, continuing my “Seeking Saturdays” – I’m thinking Mon, Tues, Thurs, Sat…

I leave you with this thought today…

The near-full moon was bright as it was setting this morning.  I started at it in awe and had this thought.  We simply see the moon because it is reflecting light from the sun.  Much like our lives, we reflect the light in us.  The light we receive from our “Son”, Christ.  The beauty of the moon is only seen because of the greater light from the sun, yet the moon is given the opportunity to be beautiful as well.  In YOUR life, you are given the opportunity to be beautiful and great, simply by reflecting that greater light.  I encourage you with that today, reflect beauty and greatness as you let your light shine today.

What things can you do to reflect light today?

Karen! Thank you SO much – I will continue to post frequently but as I focus on the book I’m going to dedicate 2 full mornings to it! Thanks again!
